Frequently Asked Questions
How often should Suspend PolyZone be applied for effective pest control?
You can apply this insecticide every 90 days to ensure appropriate pest control, even in warm, greasy, or wet environments.
Can Bayer Suspend Polyzone be used indoors?
While this product is designed for outdoor use, it can be used indoors for schools, hospitals, warehouses, exterior and perimeter buildings, lawns, ornamental landscaping, and more. It’s especially good for hard-to-reach areas, like cracks and crevices.
How should I apply Suspend Polyzone insecticide for optimal results?
This is a concentrate, so you must mix it with water before use. Start by filling a large backpack sprayer about halfway with water. Shake the Polyzone mixture and add the appropriate amount of sprayer for your intended use. Different concentrations of Suspend Polyzone are designed for different uses, including:
- Maintenance Treatments: 0.25 oz. of insecticide per gallon of water
- Initial or Cleanout Treatments: 0.75 oz. of insecticide per gallon of water
- Severe Infestations: 1.50 oz. of insecticide per gallon of water
After adding in your desired amount of Suspend insecticide, seal the sprayer and shake well to mix. Open the sprayer and add the rest of the water before replacing the lid and shaking again.
Apply the spray using a coarse, low-pressure method for outdoor perimeters, lawns, and landscaping. If spraying by a building, spray up the wall about three feet and back down across the ground up to ten feet out from the building. You can also spray around windows, doors, and eaves with a directional spray, as well as into foliage and shrubs. Indoors, Suspend Polyzone should be used as a spot treatment along baseboard, around pipes, under appliances, and in cracks and crevices.
