HexPro Termite Bait System

Hex Pro Termite Baiting System is a very easy to use baiting station that's designed to monitor and bait for termites if there are termites in the area. 

The dimension of each bait station measures 3.5" x 3.5" x 8". 

Please note, this is for the monitoring stations only. Each monitoring station includes a lid, wood monitor piece and the station itself. The active ingredient used to eliminate termites is NOT included and purchased separately. The product used that contains the active ingredient is called Shatter and is only used when termites are found in the station during quarterly inspections. 

We recommend inspecting the stations once a month. 

When using the bait station, it's important to point out that you have to dig a hole and insert the station. When placing these stations, they should be placed 2 to 4 feet from the foundation and put down one station 8 to 10 feet apart. Make sure you form a perimeter around the foundation of the structure. 

How long does it take to control the termites?

Once the Hex-Pro system is installed, it can take from a few weeks to a few months for termites to enter the Hex-Pro termite stations, depending on time of year, geography, termite pressure and termite species. Once the termites enter the bait cartridges and begin feeding on Shatter termite bait, the process of termite control can begin. Colonies may begin to decline as quickly as four weeks after feeding on Shatter termite bait. It is important to remember that the termites’ natural behavior, upon which the Hex-Pro system depends, does vary with the factors mentioned above, so the time and effort needed to achieve control can vary as well.

It's important to point out that this is strictly for subterranean termites. This will NOT work for drywood or dampwood termite species.
